Suspect(s) wanted for recent string of Richland County shootings
Thursday, March 2, 2017

COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) – Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for the community’s help in finding a suspect(s) in connection with a string of recent shootings.

Lott said that during the week of Feb. 13, two separate shooting incidents happened on the 7800 block of Edgewater Drive. The first incident occurred Monday, Feb. 13 while the other happened Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The unknown suspect or suspects fired multiple shots at a victim’s home, according to the department. No injuries were reported, though there was damage to the victim’s home and vehicles.

The department says two possible suspects, driving what may have been a light colored, newer model vehicle, were seen fleeing the scene after the shootings.

Lott asks that if you know anything about both incidents to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
