Picture of Wanted Car in Hit & Run Released

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police have released a photo of a car believed to be involved in a hit and run in Five Points over the weekend.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Harden and Greene Street.

Officers say the women were lawfully walking in a crosswalk when the car, which was traveling south on Harden Street, turned right and hit the victims. The women were treated and released by EMS.

Witnesses took pictures of the vehicle's license plate before the driver left the scene without helping.

The car is a 1998 gold or tan Buick Century with South Carolina tag number JCS 925. It may have front bumper or hood damage.
