Suspects identified in Econo Lodge Robbery

Aiken, SC - Aiken Public Safety investigators have identified the individuals responsible for the armed robbery of an individual at The Econo Lodge on 3500 block of Richland Avenue West. The robbery occurred on July 29, 2014 at 0755 hours. The victim reported two individuals approached him while armed with a handgun, and demanded property from him. After receiving the property the individuals fled the area. Investigators followed up on leads and were able to identify the persons responsible.

On July 30, 2014 investigators issued arrest warrants for Nolan Mumford (22) of Jackson, SC and Alex Prior (37) of Beech Island, SC. They are wanted by Aiken Department of Public Safety for Armed Robbery. Investigators continue to investigate the incident and further charges are pending.

Aiken Public Safety investigators have additional charges related to the Armed Robbery at The Econo Lodge on Richland Avenue. Rachel Lee Tobak (32) of Aiken, SC is wanted for Armed Robbery. All three individuals may be travelling together in a newer model Dodge Ram, red in color, last displaying SC Tag# IVZ-511.

Anyone with information related to the robbery or the whereabouts of Mr. Mumford and Mr. Prior is asked to contact Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372). Callers will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
