Lancaster County Deputy Wins Marksmanship Award
Friday, August 15, 2014

LANCASTER COUNTY, SC - The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that Deputy Eduardo Rodriguez won the Clifford A. Moyer Marksmanship award at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy on August 8th, 2014. This award is given to the deputy who receives the highest marksmanship score in their class during handgun training at the Academy. It is named after the first director of the Criminal Justice Academy.

“I am very pleased to hear of Deputy Rodriquez’s award,” said Sheriff Faile. “Familiarity with firearms is an important part of law enforcement, and for Deputy Rodriquez to be singled out as the best in his class with his firearm is certainly an accomplishment to be proud of. Job well done.”
