Victim Identities Released in Double Homicide
Monday, July 28, 2014

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has identified the two victims killed in a shooting on Kentucky Street Thursday night.

Watts says William Todd Watlington, Jr., 27, and Joshua Samuel Cullifer, 22, died from gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred on Thursday at a home on Kentucky Street, just south of the Olympia neighborhood off Bluff Road.

Deputies say Carlos Flores and the two men got into a argument over drugs, and during the fight, Flores shot both men in the upper body.

Carlos Flores, 17, is charged with two counts of murder, while a 15-year-old girl is charged with accessory after the fact.

Flores will be taken to Richland County jail. The girl will face her charges in family court.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department is continuing to investigate this incident.
