Tuesday, April 1, 2014

KERSHAW COUNTY — A Midlands K-9 officer was hit by a vehicle on Sunday, and fellow officers are looking for your help.

Kershaw County Sheriff's Office Bloodhound Officer "Corley" is going to require invasive surgery following the accident. The surgery is going to be costly to the K-9 department, which is supported primarily by public donations.

She is expected to have a full recovery with no effects on her tracking ability.

To donate, contact Sam Connell at the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office at 425-1512.
