AIKEN, SC - Aiken Department of Public Safety responded to an Armed Robbery at Approved Cash Advance, located at 1010 York Street, on March 12, 2014 at approximately 10:08 A.M.

A black male, dressed in all black with a camouflage scarf, came into the business armed with a handgun and demanded money from the employee. The subject received an undisclosed amount of money and left running behind the business.

The subject is described as being tall and skinny.

The ACSO bloodhound tracking team was called to the scene to assist with the investigation. It is undetermined at this time if the suspect left on foot or in a vehicle.
