Sheriff Working to Close Down Nightclub
Sumter County, SC (WLTX) - Sumter County Sheriff Anthony Dennis says he's going to try and get a nightclub shut down.
Dennis says Club Miami is a threat to citizens, and he's beginning the process of closing the business.
Sunday, the club was the site of a fatal shooting that also injured another person. According to Dennis, there have been other incidents at the club over the last several years.
"We will not continue to expose our great community to this nuisance and dangerous menace to our people," Dennis said in a statement Monday.
