Vehicles of Interest Identified in Fatal Hit & Run
Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit and run near Interstate 77 in Richland County.
Around 8:40 a.m., drivers saw a man's body on Farrow Road near the where it connects with I-77. Richland County paramedic and Richland County deputies were called to the scene, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators quickly determined the man had been hit and killed by a vehicle. Officers are working to find out exactly when the man may have died.
Troopers have released two vehicles of interest in the case. Officers say they want to find someone who may have been driving in the area in a blue 2001-2008 Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country.
