Sheriff: man walked in bar after being shot

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Richland County Sheriff Deputies are searching for suspects they say shot a man at Kingston Sports Bar Saturday night.

Sheriff Leon Lott says the victim walked outside of the business and returned moments later shot in the upper body.

Lott says the 31 year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Sheriff Leon Lott says investigators and forensic scientists are working to locate the victims killer and will not rest until the family and community gets answers.

Investigators say they are following significant leads and ask anyone with information to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
