Two wanted for aggravated assault and shoplifting

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department is looking to identify a man and a woman wanted in connection with and aggravated assault and shoplifting Dec. 26.

Sheriff Leon Lott said a man and a woman were seen on video surveillance equipment stealing merchandise from Walmart between 3 to 4 p.m. on 10060 Two Notch Road.

When an employee approached the suspects, the male suspect pointed a knife at the victim and then ran across the street and fled in a white Suzuki with an unknown tag, Lott said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
