Skeletal Remains Found in Greenville County Woods
Friday, January 24, 2014

GREENVILLE, SC (WLTX) - A 911 call about bones in the woods led authorities to some skeletal remains in an area off Groce Road and Blackberry Valley Road, a few miles northwest of downtown Greenville.

Investigators will work today to determine if the remains are male or female, authorities said Thursday.

Investigators don't know how long the remains had been there or how the person died, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

Further testing will determine the cause of death, deputies said.
