Holly Hill man killed, two others injured, in shooting
Saturday, January 11, 2014

ORANGEBURG, SC - The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death of a Holly Hill man Thursday night.

Lenward Jamerson, 32, of Bim Street, died of a gunshot wound to the arm and chest, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Sean Fogle.

Thursday night, Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said, "At this time our investigation is just beginning. There are few details that are available, but evidence indicates this was not a random act of violence.”

He said officers will work “to continue to determine the events that led to the shooting."

There were two other victims. The extent of their injuries was unknown Thursday night.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Investigations at 803-534-3550 or CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
