SHERIFF PROMOTES FOUR DEPUTIES

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC - Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts promoted three Lexington County Sheriff’s Department deputies to serve as field training officers, and one deputy to serve as a resident deputy.

Metts promoted Jonathan Brock, 30, of Lexington, to serve as the Dixiana resident deputy. Brock previously served as a road patrol deputy for the West Region Patrol District, which is based near Gilbert. On January 9 of 2012, Metts appointed Brock to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Thomas Fine, 45, of Lexington, to serve as a field training officer for the West Region Patrol District, which is based near Gilbert. Fine previously served as a deputy in the Traffic Division. On January 4, 2011, Metts appointed Fine to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Michael "Joe" Hart, 29, of Lexington, to serve as a field training officer for the South Region Patrol District, which is based near Pelion. Hart previously served as a deputy on a road patrol shift in the South Region Patrol District. On September 19, 2011, Metts appointed Hart to serve as a deputy.

Metts promoted Cameron Sherban, 28, of Lexington, to serve as a field training officer for the South Region patrol district, which is based near Pelion. Sherban previously served as a deputy on a road patrol shift in the South Region Patrol District. On January 9, 2012, Metts appointed Sherban to serve as a deputy.
