West Columbia Police Team-up for Prescription Pill Take Back

West Columbia, SC – The West Columbia Police Department and BI-LO are partnering with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) for a prescription pill take back.

Prescription medications are ending up in the hands of people who they are not intended for and they are also being improperly disposed of and exposed to the environment.

All medications will be accepted for destruction, no questions asked.

We are grateful to BI-LO for working with us and being available to our community for this event.

Turn in your old, expired medications for safe disposal on Saturday, October 26 th between 10a.m. and 2p.m. at the West Columbia BI-LO 2349 Augusta Road.

If you, or someone you know, have any information regarding any crime, you are encouraged to contact Crimestoppers. You could earn a reward up to $1,000.
