Update: Amber Alert Suspect Caught, Both Victims Found Safe
Tuesday, October 29, 2013

St. Stephen, SC (WLTX) -- Suspect Telly McClam was captured Monday night according to the Willamsburg County Sheriff department. SLED reports that both victims have been found safe.

CBS News affiliate WCSC reports that St. Stephen Police Chief John Waters said Deandrene McHoney and her daughter, LeAndre' Jenkins, have been recovered.

Waters tells WCSC that the suspect, 36 year-old Telly McClam had been in a relationship with McHoney when there was an altercation in 2012 when McClam rammed her car and kidnapping her. She was later recovered and he was arrested, charged with attempted murder and malicious injury to property, along with kidnapping.

The charges were later dropped.

McClam and McHoney were again recently dating, according to Chief Waters, until she left McClam's home with her daughter.
