Aiken man arrested for numerous commercial burglaries‏

AIKEN, SC - Investigators with Aiken Department Public Safety have arrested Ricky Antonio Holmes (31) of Aiken, SC.

Mr. Holmes is charged with three (3) counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, two (2) counts of Safecracking, and possession of burglary tools.

Mr. Holmes is accused of breaking into The Breakers Convenience Store on University Parkway. He is also accused of breaking into The Pizza Hut and Kentucky Fried Chicken on Richland Avenue. While inside of those businesses he forced entry into the safes, and removed an undisclosed amount of money.

Mr. Holmes is incarcerated at Aiken County Detention Center. Investigators are continuing to determine if Mr. Holmes is connected to other burglaries in the Aiken area.
