Suspects Arrested After Investigators Find Meth Lab
Thursday, September 26, 2013

Lancaster, SC – On 09/25/2013 Lancaster County Drug Task Force Investigators arrested Aaron Baker (W/M DOB:10/31/1977 Address: 291 South Ave. Lancaster, SC), Robert Baker (W/M DOB: 04/16/1974 Address: 1534 Pageland Hwy. Lancaster, SC) and Dana Sanders (W/F DOB:09/18/1979 Address: 291 South Ave. Lancaster, SC) after finding a methamphetamine lab on South Ave. Investigators were in the area conducting surveillance on the residence when they stopped a vehicle leaving the scene that was occupied by Robert Baker. During the traffic stop, investigators located items commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine in the vehicle. Investigators returned to the home and arrested Aaron Baker on an outstanding warrant for Growing/Manufacturing Marijuana. The investigation eventually concluded when investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence. Once the warrant was executed, investigators found methamphetamine and additional evidence of the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Hazardous material experts were called in to properly dispose of the dangerous waste.

All three suspects were jailed at the Lancaster County Detention Center where they are awaiting a bond hearing. The suspects were charged as follows:

Aaron Baker: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Growing/Manufacturing Marijuana

Robert Baker: Manufacturing Methamphetamine

Dana Sanders: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Schedule II and IV controlled substance

Sheriff Faile said, “Meth labs are extremely dangerous and we are thankful that we were able to shut this place down and get these individuals in jail before someone was hurt.

Our Drug Task Force team did a great job with the investigation and I am thankful for their hard work. Job well done.”
