SPRINGDALE POLICE ARREST THREE AFTER A TIP ABOUT A MARIJUANA GROW
SPRINGDALE, SC - Springdale Police Chief Kevin Cornett is announces the arrest of three individuals after receiving an anonymous tip in reference to a small marijuana grow in Springdale.
Officers with the Springdale Police Department began an investigation after receiving an anonymous tip about marijuana being grown at 2608 Crest Dr, West Columbia, SC 29170. On Tuesday September 10, 2013, at approximately 11:45 am officers executed a search warrant at the residence. Officers arrived and found one individual caring for two adult marijuana plants in the back yard.
During the search warrant, officers located additional marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a gun inside of the residence.
Officers arrested Curtis Aukerman (28 W/M) for possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing marijuana and manufacturing marijuana within a half mile of a school, Sean Sammons (27 W/M) for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, and Ashleigh Nobbs (26 W/F) for possession of drug paraphernalia. All three were booked into the Lexington County Detention Center.
