Sheriff’s Office Investigating Stabbing Incident

Lancaster, SC – On 09/18/2013 at approximately 12:21 am Deputies were dispatched to the Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster regarding an assault. Upon arrival Deputies found a 31 year old female at the hospital. The victim reported that she was at a party on Mangum Dr. in Lancaster when she had an altercation with another female suspect. The victim reports that during the altercation the other female produced a knife and cut her on the hip and shoulder. The victim was transported by personal vehicle to Springs for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. It was reported that both parties had been consuming alcohol.

At this point in the investigation, the identity of both parties has been determined and Investigators are searching for the other party. No criminal charges have been filed at this point and the other subject is wanted for questioning only.

This case remains under investigation and no further information will be released until the conclusion.
