COLUMBIA, SC - Interim Police Chief Ruben Santiago hopes the public can assist investigators in locating a missing person.

The family of Huy Quang Pham (DOB: 7-23-1988) last heard from him on Friday, August 30, 2013.

His parents came to town to visit with him but did not actually see Pham.

When they didn’t hear from him for several days, his parents filed a missing persons report with the Columbia Police Department on Sunday, September 1, 2013.

Pham is described as an Asian male, with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 150 pounds and stands 5’9” tall.

His last known address was 2009 Greene Street in Columbia.

Investigators have received conflicting information on his possible whereabouts.

Pham’s family is extremely concerned about him.

Pham may be driving a 2006 Silver Pontiac Torrent with SC tags DZV-833. He may also be traveling to the Atlanta, Georgia area. Pham has ties to Rock Hill, S.C.

Chief Santiago encourages citizens with information about Pham’s whereabouts to call, text or submit online, their anonymous tip to Crimestoppers.
