BODY FOUND ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED
COLUMBIA, SC - Interim Police Chief Ruben Santiago encourages citizens to call CRIMESTOPPERS if they have any information regarding the death of a man whose body was found early this morning.
The man was located on the side of the road near the intersection of Center and McFadden Streets shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Preliminary information indicates that a passerby discovered the body and called 9-1-1.
Investigators suspect foul play regarding the case and continue to follow up on leads.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office is assisting CPD with the case.
