Suspects Named in Albert's Deli Theft
Wednesday, August 21, 2013

Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies say they've arrested one suspect in a recent theft at a local deli, but that the other remains at large.

Officers say Larry Hudson, 63, was arrested Tuesday afternoon. They're still looking for 47-year-old Frank Johnson.

Between 4 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on August 16th, deputies say Hudson and Johnson entered Albert's Deli on Parklane Road. Once inside, officers say the men took three air conditioning units, a walk-in freezer condenser, and a walk-in cooler condenser.

An employee of the store arrived as the men were in the process of leaving with the items, and saw them take off in an orange, older model Ford pickup truck. Community tips helped deputies to identify the suspects.
