Man Allegedly Robbed, Stabbed by Drinking Buddy

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Richland County Deputies responded to a call for help regarding a stabbing, just before 5 Friday Morning.

According to Deputies, the stabbing incident happened along Long Shadow Lane in Columbia, and according to the victim he and another individual had been drinking.

At one point the suspect forcefully took money from the victim, pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body, inflicting a non-life threatening injury.

The victim was able to escape the area and call for help. He was transported to an area hospital to be treated for his injury.
