Deputies: 4 men faked sleep during arrest on burglary charges
Friday, August 30, 2013

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC - Lexington County deputies arrested two brothers and two other men in connection with a scrap metal theft at a workshop in Gilbert.

Deputies arrested Michael Damien Blasco, 17; Adam Kevin Branham, 22; Antoine Damarco Stroman, 19; and Meechie Joseph Stroman, 18, on second degree burglary charges.

According to Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts, the group broke into the workshop outside the home at a Two Notch Road residence, but they were stopped by the homeowner.

The homeowner told deputies the group ran off after they were spotted and provided detailed descriptions of each of the men.

Metts says deputies went to the group's home and found them pretending to be asleep.

Blasco and Branham were released from custody after posting a $20,000 bond while Antoine Stroman and Meechie Stroman remain at the Lexington County Detention Center.
