Man wanted for stealing victim's gold 'grill'
Monday, July 29, 2013

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community's assistance in locating 18-year-old Christian Daniel Ray.

Ray is accused of holding another man at gunpoint and stealing his possessions on July 15.

The incident happened just after 2:00 a.m. on Sterling Cross Drive in Columbia.

Lott said the victim was asked by Ray and three other suspects for a ride to their homes.

While driving on Sterling Crossing Drive, the victim was asked to park in a cul-de-sac. Ray presented a gun and held it to the victim's head forcing him out of the car, Lott said.

Ray then demanded the victim's wallet, Galaxy III cell phone, gold grille from his mouth, driver's license, and other forms of identification, according to the sheriff.

Lott said once Ray stole the victim's personal items, he and the others fled the area.

If you know anything about this incident or Ray's whereabouts, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
