Deputies seek man who punched woman in face, pointed gun at her
Friday, May 3, 2013

ORANGEBURG, SC - Orangeburg County Sheriff deputies are looking for a 25-year-old Orangeburg man accused of physically assaulted his girlfriend.

Deputies were called to a home on Crosby Street on April 21 after 3 a.m. When they arrived, they observed the female victim with bruises and swelling to her face.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says the investigation indicates Michael Bryan Gadson pointed a shotgun at the victim and ordered her to get into the bath tub. Gadson then threatened the female’s life several times, the sheriff said.

Investigators say Gadson threw a table at the same victim on October 31.

He was arrested in February on a charge of criminal domestic violence and is currently out on $2,130 bond.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gadson is asked to contact the Warrants Division at the Sheriff’s Office at 803-533-5803 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
