Aiken man wanted for escape, weapon, and drug charges

AIKEN, SC - Aiken Public Safety is asking for the communities assistance in locating Marrio Sherard Parker (33) of Aiken, SC. Mr. Parker is wanted by ADPS for escape, weapon, and drug charges.

Mr. Parker was stopped for speeding on Whiskey Road, and the officer smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Mr. Parker was then arrested for marijuana, and during a search of the vehicle a pistol was located under the driver's seat.

While escorting Mr. Parker to the patrol vehicle he was able to resist officers, and fled the area on foot.

A search of the area was unsuccessful in locating Mr. Parker. Mr. Parker should be considered armed and dangerous.
