Police: 5 Shot at Local Club

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia Police are searching for a gunman they say shot five people at a club early Saturday morning.

According to police, witnesses saw shots being fired from a car outside of the T and T Uptown Lounge located on the 3000 block of Colonial Drive shortly before 3am.

Officials say there may have been an altercation at the club before the shooting occurred.

According to investigators, three males and two females were transported to a local hospital. Two of the victims are in critical condition; the other three are in stable condition.

Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott is encouraging citizens with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
