Tuesday, February 5, 2013

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced today that February 7, 2013 Zach’s Sandwich Shop (3512 Bush River Road) and Schroeder’s Towing will host a Low Country Boil from 11:00 to 2:30 PM in support of the Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Mr. Jim Crawford and Mr. Chris Schroeder, the Low Country Boil Chef’s for the day, contacted the Department offering to support the K9 Team; as a way to give back to the community and increase awareness to the great service the Deputies and their K9 Partners of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department provide to our communities everyday.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that the event will take place at Zach’s Sandwich Shop (located across the street from the Clusters of Whitehall) -- everyone is encouraged to come out and have some great food; while supporting the Department and Deputies who work tirelessly everyday making our neighborhoods safer.

For more information or questions about the event please contact Mr. Jim Crawford at 803-429-3889. Come hungry and early – last time they held this event they sold 125 plates in less than 2 hours.
