Wednesday, February 27, 2013

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for two men who robbed a cab driver early Tuesday morning.

Deputies responded to an armed robbery call around 3 a.m. in the 3200 block of Fernandina Road in the parking lot of Willow Creek Apartments.

Investigators say a cab driver picked up two unknown black males wearing all black clothing and black skull caps at Wash World on Broad River Road.

When they arrived at the apartment complex, the suspects began physically assaulting the driver with their hands and a hand gun. The victim gave them the cash he had.

The suspects then fled the scene.

The driver received minor injuries and was treated by EMS.
