MISSING PERSONS INVESTIGATION
Friday, January 18, 2013

COLUMBIA, SC - Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott hopes the public can help investigators locate three missing persons.

Brady S. Brown (DOB: 4-29-1963) along with his Uncle Eddie Lee Cobb, Junior (DOB: 6-27-1944) and family friend Ella Williams (DOB: 5-22-1960) were in Columbia on January 4, 2013 to attend a funeral.

On January 7, 2013 all three individuals left Columbia in a 2006 beige or gold Dodge Stratus with paper tags.

Their intent was to travel on Interstate-20 Westbound to Shreveport, Louisiana from Columbia but they never arrived.

Relatives haven’t heard from or seen them since. Repeated calls made by family members go straight to voice mail.

The last known communication is believed to have been made from a cell phone belonging to one of the three near Birmingham, Alabama on January 7, 2013.

One of Brown’s relative reported all three of them missing to CPD.

Investigators have received information that Williams may be in need of medications.

Investigators with CPD’s Special Victims Unit have contacted law enforcement agencies in these five states: Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

SLED is also assisting CPD in this investigation.
