Caught on video: Employee confronts man who steals 2 cases of beer

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - Deputies are looking for two men who got into an altercation with an employee of El Cheapo after one of them walked out of the business without paying for two cases of beer.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the men who are wanted for strong armed robbery and aggravated assault.

The incident happened just before 11:00 p.m. on October, 30 at the El Cheapo at 1013 Percival Road.

Lott said one of the men entered the business and stole two cases of beer. An employee then confronted the suspect in the parking lot and a physical altercation occurred. A second man assisted the first suspect during the fight.

The first suspect was wearing a red baseball cap, green long sleeve shirt, dark pants, and dark shoes. The second suspect was wearing a camouflage hat, camouflage jacket, and camouflage pants.
