Composite released of Advance Auto robber
Wednesday, November 7, 2012

ORANGEBURG, SC - Police have released a composite drawing of a suspect in Monday’s armed robbery at Advance Auto.

The State Law Enforcement Division artist’s rendering was completed with the help of employees who said they got a glimpse of the gunman shortly before he left.

The employees said that just before 7 p.m., a masked gunman entered the John C. Calhoun Drive business and robbed the employees of a small amount of cash.

The subject was described as wearing a navy blue jacket and a white “beanie” cap with holes cut for eyes. He was carrying a black pistol, police said.

One of the employees told police that as the suspect was leaving the store, he pulled up his beanie cap. The employee said the gunman was a black male with a “fine cut mustache.”

If anyone has any information about the subject, they are asked to call the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety at 803-534-2812 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
