Men wearing ski masks force their way into home
Wednesday, October 24, 2012

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a violent home invasion that occurred Tuesday night.

Deputy Curtis Wilson says just after 10 p.m. officers responded to a home invasion, kidnapping, armed robbery and aggravated assault call at a home on Old Brass Road.

According to Wilson, two unknown black males wearing ski masks forced their way into the victim’s residence.

The report said the two suspects assaulted the victim and stole his wallet.

Wilson says the pair also stole a purse that was inside the home at the time of the incident, as well as a Keenan High School jacket and a laptop.

The suspects fled the scene.

The victim was treated by EMS for injuries. Richland County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate.
