According to Richland County Sheriff's Department spokesman Curtis Wilson, the bodies were discovered inside a home in the 1100 block of South Ott Road around 1:30 p.m. on Monday by a salesman from an alarm company.

Wilson said the male and female had been shot in the upper body.
