Lancaster, SC – On 09/19/2012 Lancaster County Drug Task Force agents arrested Jodi Ann Bowker (W/F DOB: 10/22/1968 Address: 2298 Cane Mill Rd., Lancaster, SC) and charged her with three counts of Theft of a Controlled Substance. Bowker’s arrest comes at the conclusion of a joint investigation between the Drug Task Force and UPS loss prevention employees.

Bowker was a delivery driver for UPS at the time of the thefts is charged with stealing packages that contained controlled substances that she was tasked with delivering. The incidents occurred on 12/01/2011, 09/18/2012, and 09/21/2012. Bowker was jailed and released on 09/19/2012 on a $15,000 PR bond.

On 09/19/2012 Deputies were dispatched to TD Bank at 8179 Charlotte Hwy in Indian Land regarding a possible identity theft. Upon arrival Deputies were located Jacqueline Taylor (B/F DOB:10/06/1964 Address:69 West 130th St. New York) at the bank. Deputies were advised by Bank employees that they had received a alert from their fraud department regarding someone attempting to commit identity theft to withdraw money.

Taylor initially lied to deputies by providing false identification and representing herself as the victim of identity theft who resides in New York. Investigators arrived on scene and continued with the investigation.

It was then learned that Taylor had been involved in a similar incident at a TD Bank in York County earlier that day. Taylor also had in her possession a credit card in the name of the identity theft victim from New York. Taylor was ultimately arrested and charged with False Information and Financial Identity Theft.

Taylor was transported to the Lancaster County Detention Center and jailed. Taylor was released on a $101,000 surety bond on 09/21/2012 and transported to York County to face charges there.
