I-Recycle 4th Annual ½ Marathon

Spartanburg, S.C. - The Spartanburg Public Safety Department will begin closing
streets around 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 for the ½ Marathon.

The Spartanburg Public Safety Department will assist with the I-Recycle ½ Marathon, on October 13, 2012, by closing many neighborhood streets. Many of the streets will be coned-off, and closed as early as 5:00 a.m. The race will start at 8:00 a.m.

Runners will start at Spartanburg High School on Dupree Drive and turn left on Sydnor Drive. The runners will travel through several neighborhoods throughout the City of Spartanburg. Runners will have an opportunity to run through Hillbrook, Duncan Park, South Converse, and Converse Heights.

The route will include the following streets: Dupre, Fernwood, Sydnor, Fernwood, Overland, Beechwood, Allston, East Main, Heywood, Connecticut, Fairview, Mills, Saint John, Pine, Chestnut, Advent, Dean, South Converse, Kennedy, Henry, Hudson-Barksdale, Marion, Caulder, Collins, West Park, Sharon, Lucerne, Calhoun, Washington, Country Club, Union, Forest, Boyd, Mills, Palmetto, Glendalyn, Rutledge, S Fairview, Glendalyn, Connecticut, Brentwood, Sydnor, and Hollywood.
