Dual Armed Robberies in Aiken

AIKEN, SC - On 10/22/2012, just after 9:40PM, ADPS responded to the parking lot of Petsmart on 2500 block of Whiskey Road for an Armed Robbery of an individual. The victims were approached by a male subject who was armed with what appeared to be an assault rifle.

The suspect then fled the incident location.

A short time later an Armed Robbery was reported at Subway restaurant on 700 block of Silver Bluff Road. The suspect was described as a heavy set white male who was armed with an assault rifle.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the location in a light blue colored sedan, unknown make or model.

Property belonging to the first victims was located outside of the Subway restaurant.
