WINNSBORO, SC - SLED agents continued their air and ground search for a Winnsboro Public Safety Officer wanted for attempted murder in connection with the shooting of his estranged wife Sunday evening.

Winnsboro DPS Officer Michael Bernard Roseboro, 43, was last seen leaving the scene of the shooting on 8th Street in Winnsboro driving his assigned DPS white Ford Crown Victoria, South Carolina license tag MG 42060. The vehicle was recovered this morning near Great Falls.

A warrant has been issued for Roseboro’s arrest. He should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public.

The victim was transported to Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia for treatment of what was reported to be non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of DPS Officer Roseboro is requested to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-CRIME SC (274-6372).
