Additional Charge Filed Against Serial Rape Suspect‏

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC – This afternoon Investigators assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit served additional arrest warrants on serial rape suspect Rodney Maurice Davis, Jr.

In addition to the Burglary 1st Degree and Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree charges that were filed against him last week at the time of his arrest, the following additional charges were filed this afternoon: Larceny / Petit or Simple Larceny - $2000 or less, Kidnapping ( two counts ), Carjacking, Pointing and Presenting a Firearm and Obtaining Under False Pretense Value $2000 or less.

These are all the charges that will be filed on the current cases in Spartanburg County at this time.
