Suspect used fire exit to steal TVs from Walmart
Friday, September 28, 2012

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC - The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a shoplifter they say used a fire exit to flee the scene after stealing TVs from Walmart.

According to an incident report, on September 17, a white male entered the Walmart store located on South Lake Drive, selected an empty shopping cart and proceeded to the Electronic Department where he took two 32” TVs from the back wall.

Deputies say the man placed the TVs in the cart, and exited the store using the fire exit located near the receiving dock in grocery.

Video surveillance captured the suspect loading the items into a tan color SUV-possibly a Chevrolet Blazer, according to sheriff’s deputies.

After further review of surveillance video, deputies discovered that the same suspect used the same SUV to remove TVs from the store on September 15, the report stated.

If you have any information that can help investigators apprehend this suspect, you are urged to contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
