Police seek Corvette stolen from dealership

IRMO, SC - The Irmo Police Department and Crimestoppers are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the driver of a black tow truck and location of stolen Corvette.

Police say on July 8, at approximately 6:50 a.m., a black unmarked tow truck drove into the lot at Jim Hudson Toyota located at 970 Columbiana Dr, Irmo, SC.

After entering the lot, the unknown driver, hooked up a burgundy 2007 Chevrolet Corvette and towed the car from the lot.

Surveillance photos captured the black tow truck entering and leaving with the Corvette.

Police say it is unknown if there were any other occupants in the black truck.

If you can identify the driver of the tow truck or have any information about this crime, you are urged to contact Crimestoppers 1-888-CRIME-SC.
