Sketch released of Shandon indecent exposure suspect
Thursday, July 12, 2012

COLUMBIA, SC - Columbia Police have released a composite sketch of a man wanted on an indecent exposure charge in Shandon.

Police say the incident happend on Saturday morning at the 100 block of South Walker Street when two females saw the nude man fondling himself.

One of the women told police that the man had a light-colored, short-sleeve t-shirt pulled over his face. He was described as being a thin, white male, possibly between 20 and 30 years old with a medium build and a dark "Beatles-style" haircut with bangs reaching his eyebrows.

CPD investigators are trying to determine if this incident is connected to several other previous indecent exposure incidents in the Shandon area.

Police had arrested a man they called a "person of interest" in those other incidents, but it is not clear if he was ever charged in connection with them.

Meanwhile, if you have any information about this case, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
