Sheriff’s Office Investigating Suspected Homicide

Lancaster, SC – On Wednesday July 25th at approximately 7:17 PM Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Lamplight Rd. in Lancaster regarding a reported suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival Deputies located Timothy Alan Wissinger (W/M DOB: 12/27/1969 Address: Lancaster) deceased in his vehicle. The vehicle was found at the edge of the woods with engine still running and in gear.

Criminal Investigators, Crime Scene Investigators, SLED Agents responded to the scene and began a detailed investigation. Information and evidence obtained at the scene suggests foul play. The cause and manner of death is pending an autopsy.
