RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - Authorities believe two men who robbed a Richland County pizza shop in June have committed similar crimes in surrounding areas.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department says the two men robbed Papa John's Pizza at 817 St. Andrews Rd. on June 12th just before 2:00 p.m..

Deputies believe one of the men was caught on video using a stolen credit card later that day in a Lexington County convenience store.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said the two unknown males entered the Papa John's store around 1:50 p.m. One of the suspects presented a note stating he had a gun and demanded money. The victim opened the cash register and the suspects stole the money and fled the business.

Deputies say the suspects left in a white pickup truck. Suspect number one is described as a white male, 5’ 5” – 5’ 8” tall, wearing a Georgia ball cap, yellow polo shirt, and blue jeans. Suspect number two is described as a white male, possibly 6’3, 200 pounds, slender build, wearing a long sleeve plaid shirt, blue jeans, and a hat.

Lott said one of the men used a stolen credit card at a South Congaree convenience store around 8 p.m.
