RICHLAND COUNTY, SC - Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is proud to announce that Sergeant Vincent Goggins of the Department’s Gang Unit has been selected by Aspatore Books as an author in the new authoritative book, Inside the Minds: Investigating Gang Crimes.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that one of the priorities over the last 16 years for the Sheriff’s Department has been to empower our citizens in all areas of crime fighting and to aggressively rid our neighborhoods of anyone who would pose a threat to our quality of life. To this end the Sheriff has surrounded himself with professional, educated and conscientious personnel who work tirelessly toward this vision and goal. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that an example of this is Sergeant Vincent Goggins. The Sheriff added that Vince is one of those dedicated people who have stood tall with him in the fight against gangs and who have truly worked hard to educate our communities and track down gang members.

Sheriff Leon Lott is proud of the Department’s efforts in the fight against crime and Sergeant Goggin’s standing out as a leader in the Investigations’ Community.
