Man stabbed multiple times during fight

HOPKINS, SC (WIS) - A man is in jail Friday morning after deputies say he stabbed another man multiple times during a fight.

Curtis Wilson, Richland County Sheriff's Department spokesperson, says Tyrone Adams and the victim got into a fight around 8:00 Thursday night. Wilson says Adams stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife during the fight.

The incident happened off of Base Hill Road in the Hopkins area.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. His name has not been released.

Adams was being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on attempted murder charges.
