Monday, July 2, 2012

CLARENDON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Clarendon County deputies are currently in standoff with the father of a missing boy, according to Sheriff Garrett.

Sheriff Garrett says deputies have surrounded the 32-year-old father Brandon Lee Dubose along Sammy Swamp Road and Highway 261 near the Sumter County line.

Deputies say the child is no longer with the father and they are continuing to search for the missing child.

According to WIS's news reporter Meaghan Norman, who's on the scene, dogs and helicopter have been called the area, while Sheriff Garrett organizes crews at the intersection of Sammy Swamp and Hwy 261.
