Suspects Arrested in Larceny from Local Car Dealership
Lancaster, SC – On 05/21/2012 the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Larceny that occurred at Cauthen Motor Company on Hwy 200 in Lancaster. It was reported that someone stole the tires and rims off of a vehicle for sale on the lot. The tires and rims were valued at $2,000.
The Sheriff’s Office began a detailed investigation. During the course of that investigation it was discovered that Brandon Eargle (W/M DOB: 01/12/1992 Address: 1552 Kershaw Camden Hwy Lancaster), Thomas Gray(W/M DOB: 05/15/1986 Address: 2249 Lord Rd. Lancaster), Richard Clemmer (W/M DOB:08/09/1991 Address: 2722 Pineview Dr. Lancaster) did steal the tires from the closed business and carried them to a pawn shop in Rock Hill where they were sold. The tires and rims were recovered and have been returned to the owner. All three suspects have been arrested and charged with Petit Larceny $2,000 or less.
Since their arrest, all three suspects have been released on bond pending trial.
